Video Copilot: Animated Polygon
We were given a task to create a simple motion graphics according to the given tutorial by the lecturer. We are required to amend the elements according to our preference by changing from color scheme to shapes base on our own preference by using the Adobe After Effects to create the animation.
Firstly, we start off by creating a solid background and choose any color. I decided to use dark grey for the background and light pink color for the shapes
I used the shape polygon with six edges and transformed it to a hexagon. Then, add gradient and animation by set the keyframe on the timeline to make the movement much more dynamic with ease in and ease out effect.
Once everything is done, on the composition tab above and select Add To Render Queue to export as video.
Here is the final outcome.
